‘นายกฯนักประดิษฐ์’ ชี้ปัญหาอุบัติเหตุเกิดจาก ‘ความประมาทและความไม่รับผิดชอบต่อสังคม’ – เตือนสติอย่า ‘แลกเอ็นเซ่นเหล็ก’ อย่าเอาความคึกคะนองแลกกับความสูญเสีย

นายภณวัชร์นันท์ ไกรมาตย์’ นายกสมาคมนักประดิษฐ์และนวัตกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย กล่าวถึงศูนย์อำนวยการป้องกันและลดอุบัติเหตุ ทางถนนช่วงเทศกาลสงกรานต์ พ.ศ. 2562 แถลงถึงยอดอุบัติเหตุทางถนนในช่วง 7 วัน อันตรายว่าเกิดอุบัติเหตุ 3,338 ครั้ง ผู้เสียชีวิต 386 ราย ผู้บาดเจ็บ 3,442 คนว่า ถึงแม้ว่ายอดผู้เสียชีวิตจะลดลงมาจากปีที่แล้ว แต่ก็ยังสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงหลายๆปัญหาที่จะต้องคำนึงถึงความปลอดภัย เช่น ปัญหาของผู้ขับขี่ยานพาหนะ ที่จะต้องเริ่มต้นจากการตรวจเช็คสภาพเครื่องยนต์ก่อนเดินทาง ต้องนอนหลับพักผ่อนให้เพียงพอก่อนวันออกเดินทาง และเวลาขับรถต้องมีสมาธิ อย่าคึกคะนอง และต้องปฏิบัติตามกฎหมายอย่างเคร่งครัด

 

ต่อมา ปัญหาจากสภาพแวดล้อม โดยเฉพาะจากพื้นผิวถนนที่ไม่เรียบร้อยและการก่อสร้างถนน ที่ไม่มีการแจ้งหรือติดตั้งสัญญาณให้ผู้ขับขี่ทราบอย่างเพียงพอ ทำให้ผู้ขับขี่ไม่สามารถปรับเปลี่ยนการขับรถได้ทันและเสี่ยงที่จะเกิดอุบัติเหตุได้ และสุดท้าย ตนเห็นว่า การเกิดอุบัติเหตุทุกครั้ง ไม่ได้เกิดจากดวงหรือสิ่งที่ควบคุมไม่ได้ แต่มักเกิดจากความประมาทและความไม่รับผิดชอบต่อสังคม จนทำให้เกิดความสูญเสียต่อชีวิตของตนเองและของผู้อื่น ซึ่งแทนที่จะเป็นเทศกาลแห่งความสุขกลับมาต้องทนทุกข์ทรมานเพราะความประมาทของคนส่วนน้อย

“การเสียชีวิตในช่วง 7 วันอันตรายที่ผ่านมา ผมรู้สึกเห็นใจคนที่ปฏิบัติตามกฎจราจร มีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม แต่ต้องมาตายด้วยน้ำมือของคนที่ไร้ความรับผิดชอบ คึกคะนอง คิดว่าตัวเองเป็นซุปเปอร์ฮีโร่หรือมนุษย์เหล็กในภาพยนตร์  ทั้งๆ ในความเป็นจริงแล้ว ตนเองมีเอ็นยึดโยงตามร่างกายไปยังกระดูกและสมองเท่านั้น เมื่อคุณถูกเหล็กเพียงเบาๆ เลือดก็ออกกระจาย และทำให้ร่างกายของคุณพิกลพิการได้ ไม่ต่างอะไรกับการ ‘แลกเอ็นเซ่นเหล็ก’ ดังนั้น ผมจึงเห็นว่า หากทุกคนตั้งตนอยู่บนความไม่ประมาท และมีจิตสำนึกต่อสังคมส่วนรวมแล้ว เทศกาลสงกรานต์ในปี 2563 ที่จะมาถึงและปีต่อๆไป  ก็จะมียอดของความสูญเสียน้อยลงหรือจนกระทั่งไม่มีความสูญเสียที่เกิดขึ้นจากอุบัติเหตุก็เป็นไปได้” นายภณวัชร์นันท์ กล่าว
