นายภณวัชร์นันท์ ไกรมาตย์ นายกสมาคมนักประดิษฐ์และนวัตกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย กล่าวถึงกรณีที่มีนักเรียนชั้น ม.3 โรงเรียนแห่งหนึ่งใน จ.ขอนแก่น กระดูกสันหลังคด เนื่องจากสะพายกระเป๋าหนักจนเกินไปว่า จากกรณีดังกล่าว ตนก็ได้ทราบคำเตือนของแพทย์มาก่อนหน้านี้ว่า การสะพายกระเป๋านักเรียนหนักๆ ส่งผลกระทบต่อหมอนรองกระดูกสันหลังของเด็ก และอนาคตเป็นโรคเรื้อรัง ใครจะรับผิดชอบพวกเขา ดังนั้น หากต้องสะพายกระเป๋าหนัก ๆ ไปโรงเรียนทุกวัน อาจมีปัญหาเกี่ยวกับกระดูก และปวดเมื่อยกล้ามเนื้อ และทรมาณ ปัจจุบันได้มีประชาชน ร้องเรียนที่สมาคมฯ เป็นจำนวนมาก บางราย บอกว่า ลูกเจ็บ หลังเมื่อไปหาหมอ หมอแจ้งว่าสายไปแล้ว “กระดูกหลังคดแล้ว”จึงถามผู้มีอำนาจว่า ถ้าเป็นลูกรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงศึกษา หรือ กระทรวงสาธารณสุข จะรู้สึกอย่างไรบ้าง คงจะเจ็บปวดและเครียดใช่หรือไม่

ดังนั้น จึงถือว่าเป็นประเด็นที่สำคัญที่คนในสังคมควรให้ความสนใจมาก ห้ามปล่อยผ่านเด็ดขาดปัจจุบัน กระทรวงศึกษาประเทศมาเลเซียได้ยกเลิก ครูใช้เด็กแบกกระเป๋าหนังสือและให้ใช้ Digital Textbook แทนที่จะแบกหนังสือไปโรงเรียนหนักๆ 20 กิโลกรัมไปกลับโรงเรียน

“ดังนั้น เพื่อเป็นการแก้ปัญหาดังกล่าวผมจึงอยากเสนอให้ มีการบรรจุเนื้อหาหนังสือลงเป็นไฟล์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ เพื่ออินเตอร์เนต หรือ สร้างแอปพลิเคชั่น อัพโหลดโทรศัพท์มือถือส่งสัญญานผ่านไปยังทีวี สอนนักเรียน และให้ผู้ปกครองตรวจสอบการสอนวิชาได้ด้วยเพื่อช่วยติวการบ้านให้บุตรหลาน และ แบ่งเบาภาระของเด็กนักเรียนที่จะต้องแบกหนังสือใส่กระเป๋าไปโรงเรียนทุกๆวัน หากจำเป็นจะต้องมีหนังสือเรียนไว้สำหรับอ้างอิงแล้วก็สามารถที่จะสั่งพิมพ์ไว้เป็นคราวๆ สำหรับห้องสมุด เพื่อเก็บรักษาไว้ก็ได้ กระทรวงศึกษาธิการและกระทรวงสาธารณสุข ต้องเข้ามาดูแล ต้องพูดคุยกัน เพื่อสร้างสมดุลระหว่างหนังสือที่เด็กจะต้องได้เรียนและสุขภาพร่างกายที่แข็งแรงเพื่อพร้อมที่จะพัฒนาประเทศในอนาคต” นายภณวัชร์นันท์กล่าว
